BRUSE

An exploration in children’s furniture, BRUSE is a colorful bench inspired by the tale of “Three Billy Goats Gruff” and the bridge the story centers around.

Constructed out of welded 4mm steel rods cut to size, it lent itself well to a stylized framework construction which is both strong and references classic stone bridges.

After welding and polish, it was painted in a strong orange, bringing to mind the ubiquitous orange brick as well as the saturated colors of kid’s shows like Bob The Builder.
